Dynamic response of full-length bonded anchor cable in rock slope

چکیده

The research on the anchoring mechanism of slope anchor cable under earthquake action is not in-depth. Therefore, it has become an urgent problem in engineering practice to study seismic characteristics system and then realize optimal design anchoring. In this paper, dynamic response a rock strengthened with full-length bonded studied by centrifuge model test. It found that internal structure important effect length cable. structural surface will lead increase effective anchorage length, stress concentration occur at surface. This provides some references for optimization traditional theory.

Cable-anchor robot implementation using embedded CD++

We show the design and implementation of a robot controller with a unique locomotion system. We demonstrate that a discrete-event simulation based design provides a cost-effective, flexible , open workflow for modular robotic development. The robot is designed to translate against a vertical surface using cables fixed at one end that can wind on motor-controlled spools attached to the robot. Th...

Back analyses for slope failures in rock

Some of the geotechnical parameters used in the analysis may not be accurately measured directly from laboratory tests due to effects of sample disturbance and errors of tests. The back analysis or the observational method are thus often applied to determine the representative and/or dominant strength parameters based on field observations in practice. Based on the Hoek-Brown failure criterion,...

Fractal rock slope dynamics anticipating a collapse.

Time series of dilatometric measurements of relative displacements on rock cracks on stable and unstable sandstone slopes were analyzed. The inherent dynamics of rock slopes lack any significant nonlinearity. However, the residuals obtained by removing meteorological influences are fat-tailed non-Gaussian fluctuations, with short-range correlations in the case of stable slopes. The fluctuations...

System reliability approach to rock slope stability

A systematic quantitative methodology for the reliability analysis of stability of rock slopes is presented. A sliding mass resting on an inclined plane and composed of two blocks separated by a vertical tension crack is considered, and a disjoint cut-set system formulation is proposed, with each cut-set corresponding to a different failure mode of the slope. Methods for the evaluation of the s...

Distance Protection of Cross-Bonded Transmission Cable-Systems

In this paper the problems of protecting a cross-bonded cable system using distance protection are analysed. The combination of the desire to expand the high voltage transmission grid and the public's opinion towards new installations of overhead lines (OHL), more and more transmission cable systems are being laid around the world. Differential protection is often used for the main protection o...
